Finally got the chance to open ED tonite. Apologies for the slightly dark pics (it's a cold, dark winter night).

Absolutely love it. Every bit as good as Cain and every bit the museum quality movie prop replica we've been waiting for.

Thanks mate. Absolutely love it. Took a little manoeuvring to get the two pegs into the base to sit correctly, but I think he's standing the way he should.

The little details everywhere are amazing. There seems to be so many more little hoses, cables, nuts than I'd noticed in any of the pics I'd seen to date.

Thanks again Paul and the Chronicle team. Now let's have the rest of those Robo pieces we talked about

I've been collecting for well over ten years - mainly as an MOC Collector (or nearest to) - so getting a damaged box......... If it was a cheaper item, I probably wouldn't care so much.

I know of collectors who crack the &/@% even if the shipper is damaged!
Wait till you get a damaged statue that's over a grand, then the box will seem like nothing lol.

In my experience the bigger the box the more damage .

How are the cable/wire positions on the arm - which they were worried about not being in the correct position?

Honestly mate, the cable position and the very small amount of green paint on that gun arm are barely noticeable to me.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Looks fantastic. Congrats!

The pose looks perfect to me in your pics, I don't know if we ever found out more from that first set of pics... but it seems like that person didn't have things set right after all? The head tilt on ED looked more extreme in those pics.

Your photos look great, love it.

A shipper box is there to take damage and protect the contents surely? I appreciate these things cost a fortune and we all want them to arrive perfect, but I honestly don't mind dents in a shipper. When my SSC Engineer arrived, there was a huge whole in the shipper and art box right where his face was on the art work. That was annoying but the statue itself was perfect so it wasn't really a problem. I'd rather the outer box wasn't damaged of course but I haven't looked at the box since so it's a non issue really. I guess we all look at these things differently however, I can see why it may have tarnished your enjoyment a bit so I am sorry for that.

Looks like the prototype to me. Awesome, congrats bforce and Nidgit!

Sorry to hear about your damage bforce. Right after we were discussing how terrible the Australian post is too.
