40 years ago - America's finest hour

Here are some digital paintings I've done for a series of children's books documenting America's Manned Space Program. I was seven years old when Neil and Buzz took their little stroll on the Moon, and I'll never forget it.

This week I'll be at the two locations of the National Air and Space Museum (July 17 & 20,) for book signings. If you're in DC or Northern VA come by and say hello. It's a tremendous honor to have been invited, so just look for the guy with the widest grin on his face.

Excellent!
Shaken hands and spoke with a few moonwalkers myself. And no doubt future moonwalkers will be reading those books.

Hard to believe it has already been 40 years.

Also, a little disappointing that we have not gone further than the moon since.

why? What's the point? It's just a pathetic waste of money when you have thousands of people dying and starving on THIS planet, not to mention the carbon emmissions Space launches produces.

Shouldn't we worry about our own world first before exploring others?

for thought

apart from maybe the second one, I would have never have guessed that they are digital paintings. Well done!
