Hi Erick, I was under the impression that it is not entirely a worldwide license since Asia is excluded. I will be very happy if you have managed to secure the Asia license.

we are talking about resin kits here, not 3d prints from some company.
yes, Eric printed the master from a 3D printer, but he's not printing it 99 times..
a resin kit is made from a silicon mold not a computer printer.

yo, the last 3 unlicensed kits I bout were under $400.
one of which was a 1/4 scale fei long sculpted by Eric himself! (not produced by Eric)
so as to the question of lesser quality, i dont think so.
LOL of course I'm not saying it would cost 7k to print each statue that would be crazy. That was just to illustrate some of the costs people don't usually consider in the production a statue.

And I've really payed over $600 for the last 3 kits I've bought, so at ES 99 I don't find the price tag for a licensed Ryu Kit that high, If you do that's cool you can vote with your wallet. Don't think there's anything else you can do here as Erick has chosen his business model for this line.

I didn't get behind prototype from the beginning to get any special treatment, man. I got to meet and know the team(which i don't know who's who now other than yourself). And when i lost my full time job and had to work two part-time jobs to make ends meet I still wanted to contribute by either sharing ideas with you or buying the product with how much i could afford to show my support. But if you're willing to lower the cost on one, how about auctioning it off for a charity. The proceeds go to a good cause, man. And, btw, it's your business you do what you feel will work. I wish you luck in your endeavors.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

are the prices going to vary due to size? ex sagat is massive so will his price be higher due to his size even though him and ryu will both be casted as 1/4?

Plus DC cannot give us the preprinted license.
So we are going the chia route, however we are paying more so the factory can take longer and thus match every painting step (as best as possible in such a setting )from one of our painters.
Sorry what is the Chia route? What size will these statues be 1/6, 1/5 or 1/4? Really appreciate you taking the time to answer our questions on the forum I have not bought from you yet but I will be shortly I was waiting for the pre painted line to come out.
