OK, good point. Then, I am keeping my fingers crossed that we get that 80s hair for EX version. *fingers and toes crossed*

Crazy as it sounds....I prefer the portrait on the "prototype" Rogue PF more at this point. I know the production version was atrocious but that prototype...drool.

Not crazy at all. When they first showed this way way back, I think we all fell in love her. But the production pieces were absolutely disastrous.

That’s fairly cartoony though, which this new line seems to be straying away from.

I know. I guess I like the more cartoony/comic style.
Hyper-realistic is the way Sideshow is going forward with things I know that. However, I don't like Rogue's face compared with similar realistic sculpts such as the second Wonder Woman PF and the latest Emma Frost PF. I know it is only one angle but that is my opinion at the moment.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I’m excited to see the statue itself because I love Rogue, but the Maquette label is quite a turnoff. I’m not comfortable paying Prime 1 prices for Sideshow stuff.

If this is "maquette" pricing due to the complexity of the base again I'll be furious.

Judging from the Sideshow Print that is also revealed, I think we are getting the Olivia Newton John 80's hair portrait as EX.
I'm glad it's the Jim Lee costume. I mean, it's not everybody's cup of tea but it was pretty much the most iconic costume for the character. The costume was first popular in Jim's run. Then because of video games, cartoons....all other medium that featured her appearance was in that bomber jacket, low hanging belt, yellow and green costume.

I am comfortable in saying that 90% of Rogue fans believe this to be her best suit design. It's my favorite of all of hers. I really like the Sideshowification on this piece. Really looks great and I like they kept the leather wearing on her boots.
Now Storm's Jim Lee suit on the other hand....F that noise LOL

So sick and tired of the Jim Lee outfit.
But, it does look like a flying pose, which means she could actually work super well with my XM Storm. Now, for the love of God, please make the jacket sculpted.
