The face looks good- as does the whole line up.
It's interesting to see these with foot lighting.
I've got the Aquaman, though I haven't set it up yet.
Looking at other people's display pics, I've been disappointed in the color values XM used. The value relationships of the Aquaman's lower body, the seahorse, and much of the base are too similar to my eyes and nothing really pops out as distinct or powerful. The sculpt itself is great, but I've been wondering how a repaint of the seahorse would look, using much lighter tints.
I'd never thought of using underside lighting and it seems, based on your set up, like it would also address that problem, but with far less hassle and much more economy.
That probably wasn't the intent, but it turned out to be a happy accident- at least for that piece specifically. It looks to also be giving the rest of them a more dramatic urgency as well. Good show all around
