I REALLY hope that's a bad picture(which probably it's the case, just look at the washed out, overexposed face), otherwise I will send it back and get my $1200 back.

Yup,
I am with you guys. I will send it back if it does not look INCREDIBLE like the pics on their site.
It is confirmed the shotgun will be wood. I emailed them about it. If you look close on their site, it is brown wood, not black. I even turned up my brightness to confirm. 
On, ALIEN pictures!!!!!!!!!!!
VERY NICE and I love the base. Mine for sure but he will dwarf my queen bust!!!!!

Gruson, thanks for digging up that picture! i've noticed that all of their bases are belong to us.. hehe. just kidding. i don't know where that came from. what i really meant to say was that i noticed that all of their bases are of the same shape. i'll tell you from owning the TX that the base alone is quite heavy!
