POSTING

A few members are getting into the habit of giving their opinion on sculptures in a derogatory manner. Remember, there is a difference in constructive criticism and bashing.

If you think a statue / sculpture sucks, you don't really have to type specifically that. These sculptors do this for a living. It's no different if at your work someone goes up to you and tells you that your performance sucks and you should have taken up janitorial services instead of whatever you are doing. There's always a better way of telling someone their work should or could improve without sounding condescending or insulting.

That being said, if you don't like a statue, say why. I don't want or expect us to say we like it just to agree. Also, chances are that if you sell your point in a positive way, they might consider/take the advise (many have).

Thanks,

d

And just to emphasize Danny's point. Too many unqualified negative comments to our sculptors and their respective companies will result in removal of the offending members. Chasing sculptors and their company reps away is something we don't want. We can live without the few "negative nellies" vs the sculptors and company reps that leave due to unending bashing by a relative few. This hobby is supposed to be fun. If you don't like something say why respectively and then move on.

/\This. Trolling will not be tolerated any longer. If you post multiple times why you dislike a piece we will take it as trolling and attempt to draw a reaction. Its time to return this section to a place where people can enjoy the hobby.

Guys just a heads up. If you want to post images of your Sideshow customs or repaints post them in the section provided and not in this section.
