I agree. As much as I love the series, the price is just too much. I would love to see more GitS statues though, maybe the Major with her clothes on so I can actually display it (I mean I don't mind but the kids might)

A way to justify the price is the rarity. Very unlikely any other studios are going to remake it...

Prime 1 Studios picked up the Ghost in the Shell license and never did anything with it?

We have no idea what's made of what on this piece, so can't really comment to that, outside of total speculation, especially considering the question of is it a Bandai piece? Goodsmile? With Fans? What combination of?

Yeah that's a safe bet... I doubt they would talk about the finish of the "skin" the way they do if it was just painted polystone.
