"Mostly" lifesize.
Always open an "exception" here and there.

The wrist detonator is suppose to light-up in sequence, which is why I asked if it were possible for a video of it in action.
It's a great addition to an already excellent maquette.

Wasn't it a change-o-hand with one of them being the open lit-up feature?

Are some of your pics a bit more red that it appears to the naked eye? Like in this one:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...r11-21-08e.jpg

Is it the white balancing that is making the statue a bit more orangy/reddish than it actually is? The teeth look like they are painted orange.

The base is off the hook!!! I love the splashes on the helmet and the chemical stuff in the water... totally cool!

Looks great to me. If it looks this good in pictures and already satisfies us, you know it's going to look much better in person.

I have seen Predator skin tones highlighted with a greenish tint and others with a rusty brown tint like the CM's. I personally like the rusty approach best, so I'm a happy camper.

The base is gorgeous

The detailing of the clothing and equipments is really nice.

My one criticism is that the spots in some areas could have been blended with each other better and sort of bouncing/overlaying into each other a bit more, especially in the arm and rib areas. This would allow for a more natural look as opposed to symmetrical looking dots. A friend of mine who paints life-sized dinosaurs always told me that this was the trick for getting the spots to look realistic and not so "man made" so to speak.

But the only real complaint I have about this piece and all of the CM pieces is the price. The right price should have been $1200. That's just my two cents.

Sorry if I started to bring down this great moment with criticism and debate. The fact is that many of us, including me, believe that this is the best statue ever. It's here now for us to enjoy and celebrate!!

P.S. The folks at CM are real good people, so big thanks to all of them!
