Never read it as a kid and haven't cracked it yet, but seeing as I love the pre-Crisis Superman, this is a must for me. This is just the sort of goofy $#!t Supes was regularly involved in back then. Also, I got it at the used bookstore rather than the comic shop, so for $9, it's worth a read.
I'd read that DC had planned on reprinting it sooner, but they were restricted at the time due to all the celebrities Adams drew on the cover and within the book. Something about changing laws for use of likenesses apparently let them use it again... I dunno. I think it's the 25th anniversary of its publication, which is why they did the statue as well.
It's my ROAR, but I may not get to it until next week with the way my schedule looks this weekend. I'll post a quickie review when I've read it. And I enjoyed those Avengers/Letterman issues too!
