Didn’t knew that ILM has the Spinosaurus 1:5 maquette actually.
My T rex is stuck on Tx and with the dollar exchange going up vs mexican peso will have to wait a little.

Not sure, been going back and forth with it since it was released but haven't been able to pull the trigger.

I'm debating between this piece and the iron studios diorama.

CC's piece all the way. It may have a bad PJ but its a SW maquette replica.

What are your main considerations? Personally if they had done a better job on the IS rex I would have both, but I wasn't impressed with how those turned out(or their Kitchen dio). People can debate the aesthetics all they want about the paint scheme choice CC made, but it is a quality ECC paint job and easily bests the dull looking IS applications.

Mate the IS Rex is fine with a little airbrush work. Likely same for the CC piece too

Personally, i don't think so. That paint job takes away from the value. It's just the base color and some chocolate chips in the face. But hey, it's the SW maquette so with a better pj applied later on, it would be the best jo collectible in the market.
