UPS Insurance Claims

Curious - has anyone ever had luck getting UPS to honor an insurance claim? Received a damaged statue from them and going through the process now

When I've done them they give the money to the shipper, and you have to get the money back from them. So you have to hope the person that sent it to you is honest enough to give you the money back.

if its less than $100 claim they pay up right away. Anythign more than that and its a long process

thanks for the heads up. its a little bit more than $100 and I'm trusting that the shipper is honest
