Dating...
I have many, many years until my daughter starts dating - thankfully - but are there people on here who have had to deal with this issue - and how did you do it?

-No true dating until they are 16
-okay for going with a boy with a group of friends somewhere at 14
-No true dating a boy until he has had dinner with me
-no boys in their room
-checking for fingerprints after dates

"true" dating?
My girls won't date until 16...and at that point I am sure there will be all kinds of social networks available.
If my girls were dating now, I'd make the guy friend me on facebook first so I can see the types of things he posts. If his status was "getting lucky tonight" I'd be waiting for him at the door with Mjolnir in hand!

If at 15, she is going out with a group of girls and guys, then that is okay, no single dating.

My daughter turns 12 next month. I'm still not sure how I'm going to handle the whole "dating thing" a few years from now.
If I suddenly disappear from the forum in a few years, it will probably be because I'm in jail.

This is a good list!
The boy needs to understand...that I'm not Rhianna's daddy. There will be penalties for any damages brought upon my daughter...in spades... after that's understood...have fun kiddies
my daughter is only 3 though...so I have a little time LOL

You guys should do what my cousin in law is gonna do when his girls start dating.
Hes gonna be sitting in the corner of the living room sharping a axe when he comes to pick one of them up for the first date. Plus hes a fireman and is like 7foot and solid as a brick house. I think it will scare the hell out of the guy if he walked into a home seeing him like that.

My little sis(22) is dating a dude, even hearing his name pisses me off.
She's always that little sis in our house and I still believe that man has fooled her, if he ever plays hit-it-and-quit-it I will tear him to pieces...
And that's just my little sis so I can't imagine what you fathers are going through....
