And what about Adam Warlock? He’s been teased twice now. Once with his cocoon and once at the end of GoG2 where the queen says “I shall name him Adam.” In Thanos’ first big Death back in MTIO Annual #2, it’s Warlock who terminates him when everyone else fails to put him down.

You think she’ll get control of the gauntlet?

I do. For me, Thanos' torturing of Nebula was the MCU/Russo Bros. cinematic equivalent of Nebula's dead/decimated & reanimated body in the Infinity Gauntlet comic being toyed with by comic-Thanos. She, imo, will somehow get her hands on that Gauntlet in the next film like she did in the book & will .... well, you know.
& to WKTF's point, I don't think they'll need Warlock if I'm right. It would be cooler than hell, but they just don't need him. Hopefully he'll show up, but I doubt it.

If after Captain Marvel, when Marvel takes a deep long look at phase 5 & what's to come. If they pull off a great FF film, somehow introduce Annihilus or the idea of him, develop the NOVA Corps just a bit more, I think we'll really see Warlock in all his glory as the MCU launches into the Annihilation story line much like they did w/ the Infinity Gem story. They'll be able to tie all their future cosmic storylines together.

Especially if they’re going the Annihilation route.

My guess is, somehow, Captain Marvel will destroy the Gauntlet in a homage to the character destroying the Cosmic Cube in the comics. They've already tied in the Gauntlet to being necessary to wield the Gems, so destroying it will rob Thanos (or anyone) of ultimate power.
