Yea, I agree. I saw it as being to busy, too.

Besides, I prefer comic-based statues anyway.

After watching several youtube videos on this piece (I don't own it) my thoughts are:

Pro
- An amazing sculpt. Daniel Bel delivers.
- Great detail and concept.
- Something for the fans of comics and the movies.
- Paint app appears to be well done with limited flaws.

Con
- Purple Zombie skin. I don't like it either.
- Base pieces have gaps.
- Gingivitis or cavities in the teeth. Brush Thor!
- Questions on the long term effects of gravity on this piece attaching the body to another attachment.

I think if you know what people are saying before you get this piece, still really like what you see, then just go for it. It is your blood, sweat, and purple tears money.

It’s not like it hasn’t been done before. The Spider-Man PF for one.

Such an awesome piece. This is the best 1/4 scale Thor for me and hopefully I can acquire it down the road when things settle down for me a bit. Just got notice that my contact has my Hulkbuster in so I need to pay for that first before I can think about this one!

Sticking with my XM Thor for now, although I do like this piece. I would love to see pics of this new Thor displayed with the Jane Foster Thor. If they look really good together that might be all I need to take the leap on this statue.
