My black framed X-Men Reborn WL converted a week ago or so ago....went on a 2 payment plan....almost skipped the conversion....didnt realize until now good i bit the bait because aftermarket prices are almost double for framed versions....looks like the canvas is around $1,000 now.

I would say I can’t believe they reissuing a variant of set they did last year but this is Sideshow lol. I have the original set and love it. Comes out to $150 per print and hand signed by Ross so not horrible.

In case you guys and gals don’t want to fork over a kidney or a years worth of mortgage payments you can purchase all the Olivia prints up on SS as artist proofs on her website for a fraction of what SS wants for the smack dust versions.

Is there really a market for the “smack dust” versions?

If SS sells 99 copies each of the 7 different art prints, it would total nearly $3 million in sales...

No one would ever admit to buying one. I’m in awe at how messed up those pieces/prices are. Plus they’re space hogs. You could buy a handful or statues for the price of one or something far more constructive for your daily life. Plus if you really want a piece just grab an artist proof off her site. I finally got my sweet shop print that way.

SS would still nickel and dime it’s customers if it made that 3 million in sales.

I believe it lol. I have the old Gotham Sirens Art Germ PAPs. Those were some of SS’s earliest prints and it didn’t take them long to do variants of those. A number of SS’s art prints seem to be reprintings made for sideshow of already existing prints or are available directly from the artist in some version and separate quantity. Not a complaint, just an observation.
