Halloween 2011 - May The Force Be With You

This year the kids did the graveyeard -- I thought it had a great "ruined" feel to it so I left them to their own devices.

We once again coordinated costumes and Will picked Star Wars so it was off to the raises. The challenging aspect of Star Wars is the lack of female characters. So we toyed with several ideas (Jawa, R2D2, Yoda, Natalie Portman) before settling on Ahsoka for our daughter. Why? Because it was pink and she would put it on. Plus she got a lightsaber.

The kids:

Everyone by mom:

my wife and I:

Almost the whole family

Our neighborhood does a parade/party and the kids were generally terrified of me. Some cried. Most ran. A few eventyually were brave enough to have their picture taken with me. All in all it was a blast. Not sure if it will be possible to top this one next year.

Hope you all enjoy.

Nice pictures of you and the family in the SW gear Underdog. I would kill to get my wife to dress up for Halloween with the kids but she's not trying to hear that from me.

Congrats bro you are a LUCKY MAN!

I work for Red Hat so I shaved my head completely and painted myself red and me and another guy came to work as the Red (Hat) Man Group. We celebrate Halloween big time and even had a contest so we did a little skit. I couldn't convince the other guy to shave his head though.

Shaved head - that is dedication. Awesome idea.

Fake - if it were a weekend she could have had it done, but no time with work
