in all fairness your right T. its the shipping that kills it for most who would like to pick an XM piece up.
it all boils down to whether you want to spend that much on a piece you want bad enough. just as you would in the secondary market. boils down to the same thing.

Who is whining? I am simply pointing out the reality of the total cost. Why do I have to be criticized for pointing out the truth?

The only thing he's "right" about is that XM doesn't own FedEx. However, I just looked back through the thread and I didn't see anyone suggest that they did. So...

You're right, it looks like the least popular ones can be had for about $675 shipped from BBTS.
So did BBTS set the price for Magneto at $850 or did XM consider that one worth more?

mag is $80 USD more on XM site, it's heavy and complex, so they charging more. BBTS is charging $200 more so, you do the Math, still better than other sites that charge $1000 plus shipping.
