i like to focus on the positives with TPM instead of the negatives
-fantastic music
-best light saber battle in the series
-darth freakin maul
-quigon jinn
-full jedi council
-young obi-wan
-get to see the galaxy before outbreak of war
-good overarching story
-a proper master/apprentice relationship (qgj / obi)
im having a hard time thinking of even one positive that I can list with TFA, the music was some of the worst in the series, the story was non-existant, the villains were weak, the heroes were weak, just overall a bore to watch, the only good thing I can say about TFA is the 3D is fantastic on the bluray but thats it
I would say AOTC is the next worst star wars movie after TFA, but I still enjoyed it overall, it had an original and interesting story at least

Well said, Phantom Menace was the best Star Wars movie since original trilogy. Can’t believe it but it still is after all this time. Maul, QuiGon, and Duel of the Fates! Love it but also still hate the JarJar jokes and kiddie feeling. Music is also incredible though. Much better than other movies and a ton of memorable themes.
I was so upset with AOTC when it came out next. Just didn’t have the Star Wars feel. Nothing has for me except Ep1 and the ending of Rogur One. TFA did a little bit with Han and Chewie but could have been so much better. New characters were just meh.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I’ll echo the “Darth Freaking Maul” sentiment.
....I enjoyed Rouge One, but do we need a prequel to those characters?

It was. It's the only new SW movie I can actually re watch.

I agree for once. No more Star Wars films. As a life long SW fan I am finished with it if they continue to hold the license and pursue their course . Disney has become a cancer on creativity, a cookie cutting soulless machine, that destroys individualism and exceptionalism who's only goal is to slap their logo on everything marketable they lay their cold corporate eyes on.

You know, there’s an easy solution for those of you who are either fatigued or disillusioned by the current state of the SW franchise. Stop supporting them by watching them.
