Apparently at the last show in Thailand, they showed tons of fantastic statues, but nothing new regarding star wars, only Vader, Boba, Maul and Luke...

They did not show some new SW statues at the last convention in Thailand, so I guess the line is dead.
That is a shame, their work was amazing.

It’s dead dude! I know it sucks, but the reality is the line is a sad memory at this point.

That is a shame and I think that was not very profitable to studios to have bought a licence just to make 4 statues.
I cannot understand why Disney was so complicated to give approval on statues. The ones XM studios made are fantastic especially Maul and Boba, and Grievous was supposed to be crazy

Maul is probably the most ambitious and original Star Wars statue I've seen. I was looking forward to some insane statues from them.

As we’ve mentioned Sideshow has the US license locked down, SW isn’t big overseas and Disney’s approval process can be a bit difficult to push through. So while XM’s intentions were genuine the line proved to be financially unsuccessful which led to it’s early demise.

I agree they made some awesome statues but also seemed like slow sellers. I think making the Darth Vader a 3 pack deal hurt and while the original trilogy's Vader pose may be iconic it's kind of boring in statue form imo. I'm sure not having the NA license like mentioned before hurt as well.

In my opinion only Darth Maul is the most creative while the rest are pretty boring (Luke, Boba, Vader set).
