It’s genetics. Even though she’s of mixed heritage, those with East Asian blood do seem to age slowly early in life. Whereas very late in life it’s like falling off a cliff.

I wouldn't be surprised if they slow play the reveal of a lot of the X-Men. That's a lot of people to enter into an already very crowded MCU.
