I re-read my Omnibus about a couple of years ago. It's unrestrained 70's Kirby, with all that it entails - outlandish art and all-over-the-place story.
Except for a few things here and there, it didn't make it for me.

That’s what I recall from reading this back in the ‘70s. I keep reading how many consider this Kirby’s true masterpiece even over his DC Fourth World stuff, but I never considered either nearly as epic as his FF or Thor work.
I may pass on this as a result. I’ve found that my feelings about comics work from decades ago still holds true for that same work now. The two exceptions are Claremont’s X-Men and Byrne’s Superman, neither of which hold up as well as I thought when I first read them.

I want Marvel to collect Millar's runs of Ultimates and Ultimate X-Men along with Ultimate War into one Omnibus.

Do you guys know, what is keeping the Tomb of Dracula Omnibus, vol. 2 to be reprinted ? I have the vol. 1 reprint, and i'm waiting all 3 vol. to be reprinted so i can start to read, but it has been forever since the vol. 1 reprinted, and still no vol. 2. :/

The new variant cover of the Silver Surfer omnibus reprint is from an old issue of Requiem. It's a nice illustration, but having Spider-Man on there I think is a little misleading. He only appears in one issue, right?
Although I assume most buyers will get the classic cover anyway.

I usually don’t care too much about the covers but I’ll be going for the classic cover on this one. That is an odd choice for a variant.

I was able to get the Silver Surfer omnibus with the Surfer/Spidey cover for $79 on Ebay brand new still sealed. I would have liked the classic cover but I am happy with the one I got (especially since it was a great price).
