I just used the gloss black doors they had at Ikea, I can't remember their name, tombo maybe? Or something like that... I bought them about 3 years ago...

I guess it depends on whether you're using glass or particle board shelving. I don't know exactly the weight limit, but I've had Prime 1's Spidey 2099 on a glass shelf in my Besta for a couple of years and it's fine as can be. No bowing or drooping in the shelf at all, and this statue is heavy AF!

Thanks for the reply. However, any idea on the top of the besta, such as not inside but sitting outside atop? That lockdown is just over 44 lbs; was wondering if I could put something heavier on top my other bestas.

Oh, you mean on the very top of the unit itself. Personally, I wouldn't worry about it unless we're talking about something over 100 pounds. Just my 2 cents.
