Old-boy (2013): Not sure how to rate this one. I never saw the original and I understand that whilst the storyline is basically the same, Lee made a few changes. It is still very violent and twisted, and I was shocked by the ending (which I guess is the intention). Probably 6/10.

Just watched this too and the original version is superior imo. I give the US version a 7/10

I found the original to be an odd film & didn't really care for it. Not sure why it is held in such high regard. Zero interest in watching a remake, especially from Spike Lee whose films I refuse to watch.
