I think the Matrix in his chest is removable. Hopefully, XM will have some inner part of the truck cockpit sculpted so it won't look barren without the matrix.

That is a most wonderful question and concern I will bring up to XM.

After all my complaining about how they should not have rear view mirrors on the Prime statue, I just noticed, they don't have mirrors on the Truck!



Can't have them on one but not the other... May as well take them off the statue now.

They probably haven't put them on yet, you can see that there are pin holes on the side. I like the side mirrors, don't want Optimus to look exactly and simple as the cartoons.

Each to their own.

I would assume an advanced alien robot who's whole thing is disguising himself, would make sure something like that gets tucked away and hidden when he transforms, so that they don't break off whenever he folds his arms, ruining his alt mode :P

The solution is to leave the side mirrors as plug-ins, they're already plug-ins and glued into place, very simple for those who like the mirror or not. The holes will be unnoticeable just like truck mode.

I'll add that to my question for XM in the question thread see if they can do that.

I thought they said something about the Matrix being able to be turned off while inside the chest, not sure we've ever seen the chest with the Matrix removed?!
