Oh Yeah; now this is what I am talking about!
Ares looks incredibly cool and this statue went straight to the top of my want-list.
Great stuff!

Love the statue but am hoping there will be a non-blood soaked version. A little is ok but I don't think I need Carrie-Ares in my collection.

T...the poor guy is cut in half with his guts spilling out...it's already major gory. May as well have the blood.

I think both Ares and Monitor will be very strong sellers...

Bro..This is the fabled God of War..He thrives on nothing else than blood and gore...Did you look at the base? He's standing amidst a pile of disemboweled, butchered, mutilated, eviscerated corpses..you expect him to be squeaky clean?

I said some would be ok, no need to look like he showered in it. If anything it is reversed. Base should be bloodier and statue should be more understated, blood-wise. I can virtually guarantee you that a bloody version like this won't sell as well as a less bloody version to the statue collecting public
Lastly, just because you are God of war doesn't mean you fight the war continuously yourself.

Yeah ARH tends to go overboard on the bloody versions...And actually yes, according to the mythologies, Ares, the embodiment of frenzy of battle and bloodlust, did little else other than start and fight wars and fornicate with Aphrodites and 20 other lovers..a lifestyle similar to Conan's!

Also I don't know but I thought he was going to have "red" armor and Hades would have black armor. I don't mean like fire engine read but a dull or brick reddish color.
It would certainly be easy to sell non-bloody versions as the blood is always added AFTER it is all painted and dry so all he would have to do is not spray the blood on it.

I think all the Olympians should have gotten a golden armor except for Hades
As far as a clean version of Ares..ARH will make you one if you make a special request AP for sure
