I think it's pretty cool looking. Hard to gauge what this 1:8th would look like though compared to my other Venoms.

It is definitely different but I have to pass on 1/8th. Maybe if it was 1/6th. There is starting to be way to many scales to collect.

For our new Collector's Gallery line we are trying to do minimal bases on them as something a little different.
You can also see this with our Deadpool and Black Widow which are the previous releases in this new line/scale.

Decided to pick this up and Spider-Man when he releases. Its a great looking sculpt and pretty hefty piece for it's overall size. A unique Venom for sure and that's why I like it. No base doesn't bother me at all. He's nice and sturdy in a three-point stance. Very clean paint lines, great color, and plenty of detail for a 1/8th piece. Its actually very nice and perfect for a shelf display of Spidey and his foes, or if you wanna add it to an existing Venom shrine, then he's great for that too.
I know the in-house review is out, but here he is in a photo album I made for him. Picked him up last week.

Congrats on the score. You’re right, I forgot to mention that he’s solid. I can only imagine how gigantic this would be if GG went through with producing him in 1/4 scale. I really, really hope they make more of Spider-Man’s villains. And not just the usual Carnage Green Goblin, or black costume Spidey, but a Doc Oc, Kingpin, or Rhino would be awesome.
