Changed my rooted order to sculpted. I like them both very much, but I really want to skip the Hot Toys effect as much as possible.

That’s my thinking too.
If the piece is already going for realism with the tailored clothing, you might as well go the whole way with the rooted hair.

I think you have that backwards, sculpted is what looks more like a HT, as that is exactly how they do theirs.

No I havent. IMO fully sculpted makes it look more like a statue. While rooted hair and mixed-media makes it looks more like a doll/toy/figure.

I cannot. I would rather have it fully sculpted like a real statue tbh. Hopefully Prime1Studio will go fully sculpted with their Heath Ledger Joker in the future.
I am not saying I am right or that anyone is wrong. It's just a matter in perspective I guess.
