Saw it too and supposedly it goes back to RE roots, more horror than action and is made for VR. Supposedly a demo available on the PSN but could not find one.

Capcom said this is just a teaser of what game will be like not actual game. Same way as PT (Kojimas canceled silent hills horror game) was just sample of what game would be like.
It's available on PS store look under free games .

Resident Evil was never broken, so I don't understand why Capcom needs to keep testing the waters of new gameplay mechanics within it... just make a new IP.
The series desperately needs to go back to pre-rendered backgrounds and tank controls.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Yes they do need to go back to survival horror. Even tho I liked 4, it started a trend for the worse. 5 decent, 6 horrible.

If they went back to the prerendered backgrounds they could produce some of the most beautiful and engaging graphics ever seen.
RE 1-3 and Code Veronica had an almost comic book hand drawn feel to every frame which was fantastic and likely a major reason for their popularity.

That first "action oriented" one with the blonde guy in blue... leon was it? Anyways, that one was great. But I agree, the ones after were awful. Once I realized I was playing a shooting game where you could not MOVE BACKWARDS while shooting I was done. Almost resulted in a thrown controller many a time.
