I really do hate that silly format.
It's like a statue of a comic style dog with the heads of Snoopy, Odie and Krypto for swap-outs just to cover all the bases for different fan groups.
The idea is just absurd, IMO.

Well, no, it's the same character with portraits inspired by different artists. Superman has a Gary Frank portrait, Wonder Woman has a George Perez portrait, but they're still Superman and Wonder Woman.

Exactly.
I would just ignore Hobbyist. He's made it quite clear he doesn't like these LBS statues since they're not "for true fans of Alex Ross"
