That Silvestri statue is ROUGH. I wouldn't hold on to that at all, especially if you're, at best, going to get a slightly better version.

It's really too bad that so many of these Silvestri Batmans are coming in so terrible. Hopefully the Joe-Mads won't have this problem.

I've bought more than a 100 statues from DC, but this Silvestri Batman B&W was the first one that showed up defective. I'm waiting for a new one.

I just got an email from BBTS stating that the pre-order price / MSRP for the McFarlane B&W just increased by $30 due to "increased production costs" according to Diamond and DCC. While that seems kind of bogus I wonder if it's because they're changing factories or production methods due to recent QC issues.

DC has price-hiked every line across the board for all 2020 releases, most likely due to Trump's trade war with China. Now a 1/10-scale Batman B&W costs more than a 1/7-scale Cover Girls/Bombshells does in 2019.
Combined with the declining QC at various factories, I'm basically gonna stop collecting non-PVC statues. The aggravation isn't worth it.
