It seems sloppy and not cleanly cast to me, almost like a knock-off recast of a good statue.

Unfortunately this is true. Fortunately this one is nowhere near as bad as others I have seen. Unfortunately this seems to be the norm now for this line? Fortunately it looks OK from any normal viewing distance.

Just got my replacement. There are chips on the left arm rest, and the left arm is still floating a little. Looks much better than my first on though.

I guess if you can exchange it, you could try for another. I'd almost think about just touching that up, because the rest of it looks pretty good. I got one replacement from BBTS waiting on the 2nd. This one is pretty good. If I could do it again I would probably just buy this statue from ebay that has pics of the actual piece so you know what you are getting.

I'd recommend giving up on this statue altogether. First, as MKS noted, this looks like a bad recast. Second, if you give them your money for this you can expect more sloppy releases down the line. Send them a message that this level of poor quality isn't acceptable.
