I never stop for any of that stuff and they do take up a lot of space. Geico was handing out free towels in the basement last year when we were waiting for the con to start. Why would I go to comic con for a geico towel?

I agree nycc def needs improvements in many areas, what can we do? I personally dont bother with gm or geico.

having been to San Diego for 18 years now, they never allowed exhibitors in that would break the vibe.

It ruins the magic walking past a massive car dealer smack in the middle of the show.

Its NY so I have to assume someone is getting paid off to allow it...lol

Geico has a massive display at Phoenix comic con in the merchant area. It's off to one side of the hall, it's not to obtrusive. Pretty sure Geico is a major Comic con sponsor so they get floor space.
