the eyes should be a reddish amber color, not black.

The eyes are black in Revenge Of The Sith so it's fine for me.

yah know. with all the accuracy that the Hot Toys portraits have. im pretty shocked that Vader's likeness isn't spot on. and its not just his helemt. its the mass of his body as well.

if and when they do the 1/4 scale figure i really hope they go the extra mile to make it film accurate.

Not impressed with this either. I dont collocet HT to begin with but it just looks like a mish mash of Vaders not ANH Vader. It looks ok in certain poses but on others the proportions look off as well as his legging around the upper part of his legs looks particularly baggy. Its nice it has several display options but thats the only solid sell point on this. Ill wait for the PF and if im not satisfied with that im putting money back into obtaining what was stole from me years back. My Attakus ESB V1 statue and then call it quits on Vader.

I get that there are collectors that agonise over the slightest details, but for me the whole thing gets so tiresome and needlessly critical that I wonder if those people actually draw any satisfaction from the hobby.

I, like many others out there, enjoy the Star Wars franchise, I recognise characters and key costumes. I have no idea (nor want to) of the minute differences in Vader's costume from one film to the next. Is there any fluff that specifically charts (and gives reasons) why Vader would have changed his suit over that period? Or are people getting hung up on something that was actually a wardrobe issue within the filming studio and not intended to be intregal to the character or the story?
