display looks amazing! I watched the unboxing video on that Clayface and its a beast. They did a great job and I agree with you on the horror direction they took works well for Clayface. I would love to pick one up as well, do not think it will get made by any other company.

dude this is awesome. any updates on this guy?

i had a "thing" for goons, specifically the goon. You know...old school 20s-30s lookin'bruisers like Goon, Marv, Tall Man from Rocketeer, and the bad guys from Dick Tracy. They are soooooo col and The Goon perfectly encompasses that look.

....also, how do you like imgur for imagine hosting to you have to pay for a subscription/?

thanks man, yeah ive always loved his design too for the same reasons, just a tough as nails bruiser. no updates as of yet, i still have to cut and key the legs so i can send everything out to have the clothes tailored. im working on some other projects currently but im hoping to get this off to the tailor this summer

imgur works great and i dont have to pay to use it so no complaints here, very easy to use

a couple small updates:

this is an older project - captain rex premium format phase II armor conversion. overall i am happy with how it turned out but when i finished it the first time i didnt like how i assembled the belt it was too bulky so this year i disassembled it and reworked some things. the original concept of this was to blend animated clone wars and movie aesthetics together so thats why some elements are more animation inspired with a realistic twist

next is my first completed project of 2023 - CANKOR. i doubt many people are familiar with this character, i stumbled upon the creators instagram account one day and fell in love with his style (matthew allison @cankorr). cankor is basically a superhero cyborg but the stories are kind of a farse on the genre, its a very bizarre and fun book

this started out as a spare batman pf body ive had sitting in a box for about 10 years. the portrait was sculpted by Sumit Malhotra @sumitmalhotra.art and printed by Ed Bradley @heypainterguy

Great projects.
I really like Captain Rex. The weathering is great.

You're right. Cankor doesn't mean anything to me but the bust, especially the portrait, looks great.
