Now that we've seen all of them (except the Red Death) I like they utilized the one-shots illustration styles.
That being said- the Murder Machine looks like it belongs in Green Lantern the animated series

Can someone explain why Dawnbreaker looks so emaciated and zombie-like? I know that's his look in the comic, but I don't think they've ever given an explanation for it. Is it just a side effect of wielding a power ring for evil?

They've never directly explained it, but his origin story has him receiving the GL ring immediately after his parents are killed. So it's a combination of never going through the usual Batman physical conditioning, always relying on the ring to do his work for him and spending most of his life avoiding sunlight.

BBTS says it's a deluxe edition. Does that mean there may be a regular edition too (maybe with fewer Robins)?

No, the word deluxe just means it's more expensive than the smaller individual statues (such as Dawnbreaker).
