I wouldn't use the egg personally, maybe a little shed skin or just a few tools could add a little interest if you desire it. But that mock up without the rear wall looks good. It helps show off the profile of the pose, I actually like the action pose a bit more seeing it like that. It wouldn't have been a huge ask for them to include some plugs for the holes given how many people didn't love the wall from day one.

Without the wall, the statue seems to lose its impact. I love how the wall backdrop gives the statue a greater sense of atmosphere.

I don't mind the wall... It fits better than putting a poster behind the Alien like i see many statues.

So the weight on this is just over 28 kilos (around 60 lbs). Wonder how much the wall contributes to that.

The base is easily half the weight of the piece, (30 lbs.) if not more is my guess. The Big Chap has long skinny lanky legs & arms, that don't weigh much.

Thanks! If the Mamegyorai is what you really want, you should have it. If the P1 Chappy is enough to make you happy, then so be it.
