I was really looking forward to this...but it didn't do anything for me. The base should be a building and not the cave. The way the sculpted cowl/cape meets the cloth cape looks to much like action figure by mattel. I wish DC would share the license with Sideshow. I think these are going to fall short in overall effect when place next to a Sideshow 1/4 figure.

Same here I love DC characters and the best line IMO is the Batman b&w.

I dont know about this piece. Not a big fan of the cape.
Kotobukiya still has the best Batman piece around IMHO (not counting Batman B&W that is. They rule the DCD world.)

I'd rather spend $295 on this than another set of bookends. Looks pretty impressive.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Mixed media pieces are not my cup of tea...but this one looks better to me than the Superman. Price is way too high...but a pretty decent piece given we're talking about DCD.

LOL. I love reading these comments. Virtually no faith left in DCD. I agree that they've sorta earned their rep, but it's still funny.
I studied this pic pretty close. There's good and bad. It's WAY better than the Supes, but the wire cape is not thrilling me. The base should be rethought and the spandex is too baggy on his arms. Having said all that, I have to admit that it's awesome to see DCD trying this. Imagine a whole shelf with a 1/4 scale JLA on it. That'd be very cool. It's a Batman PF...I want it inspite of it's flaws.
