Well the idea, good or bad, is hardly a spoiler. Its in the trailer, on the poster, it seems to be their main selling point for the film. Their not showing you how the film ends. Not like this a murder mystery, its an action flick, their showing you who the (possible ) antagonist is. That be like saying drop the Age of Ultron from the new Avengers film because it spoils the movie. I just think the term "spoiler" gets thrown around loosely sometimes.

but the difference is this particular plot point had potential to be an actual shocker for the audience. seems like a dumb idea to waste it
