they have a little add on kit for a few of the units delphi makes for both XM and sirius. Just got one for my wifes roady2 XM unit.

now realize these are not the size of a razor phone but closer to a sony walkman cassette player. The one Zurb suggested is for sure one of the better ones out there.

Also if you're near your computer, you can listen to tons of free streaming broadcasts. Everything from talk to eclectic music. Cool stuff.

I love my Sirius unit.. but it is not portable... the only thing that Sirius has is the S50... and from what I have heard... the Portable XM unit sucks... I really dont think they are going to have a truely portable radio in the near near future until they increase the range of their signal... and get more repeaters in more cities...

XM is on their 3rd generation of "LIVE" portable radios...

the Helix...
-Live XM Satellite Radio on the go, in the car, or at home.
-Flash memory for MP3 files, WMA files, and XM content; Samsung Helix can store up to 50 hours of XM programming.
-Color display screen.
-Easy-to-use interface, which lets users save and delete content, create personal playlists, and find and play back their favorite songs.
-XM + Napster feature that allows users to bookmark the names of songs heard on XM, connect the Samsung Helix player to the PC, and purchase the bookmarked tracks instantly from the XM + Napster online service.
-The ability to store XM content by song, by channel, or by scheduled session.
-Ability to create unique playlists with a mix of XM content and personal music collection.
-Enhanced storage features, which allow more recording sessions at various times, as well a memory buffer for "catching" the beginning of a song.
-Customizable stock ticker and sports ticker.
-Category list for saving and accessing favorite channels.
-TuneSelect, which alerts the listener to a favorite artist or song whenever it is played on any XM channel.
-Integrated, wireless FM transmitter for beaming XM to any FM radio frequency.
-Packaged with all of the accessories needed for portable or home use

I have the Sirius Sportster. Its one of the Plug and Play units and I love it. Its geared towards NFL and has customizable wallpapers to your favorite team. It will also notify you when your favorite team is playing. My mom has the S50. She got it for Christmas and let me just say I was pretty jealous. Its a sleek little unit. Sure its not totally portable, but the rest of it more than makes up for it. When picking which service to go with, Sirius is the better choice.

I got the starmate replay, it's good for the house and the car.

I hear the portable Xm radios don't get very good reception half the time.
At least you can get it for $3 a month if you say your thinking of canceling your subscribtion.

Man you better get something quick. Howard had Hulk Hogan, and Simon Cowell on today and it was great. Stop missing out and get your radio as soon as you can. I don't know much about the radio's all I know is I have one, and you should too.
