mmmm.... , I'm not a guy who likes to disappoint others, but be honest, this Milestone Dr. doom is not even good.
I've seen one by my own eyes and a lot of pictures from collectors, the biggest problem among them all is the paint job around the mask and his hood, the silver paint cross color with his hood, the color of silver mask should be properly seperated from the green color of his hood, but a lot of silver paint gets on the hood, probably due to bad sculpt around the mask, they didn't dig a "ditch" that's deep enought around the mask, so the silver paint is out of control, that's a huge disappointment
Second, the wrinkles on his green cloth is very fake and unnatural, third, the mask looks funny, the mask should express a kind of mechanical, tough looking, but this mask looks "round" and "fat", don't even looks like metal at all. and fingers are poor, too, looks unfinished.
And the last problem left this piece in oblivion is the timing, everyone know what's going on out there, it's the Sideshow 1/4 Dr.Doom!! That's a excellent piece with beautiful paint and perfect sculpt, it's just start getting hotter and hotter, such such a bad timing for DST to release thier poor Doom, Ok, Ok, there's still somethign good about DST Doom, that's a nice chair and pose, but looks only like the cheaper version of SS doom, so sideshow piece put DST one in shame without effort, for the conclusion, even a serious doom collector won't spend such money on this piece when there's BD and SideShow doom out there...even BD Dr.Doom MB is much much much better than this piece...

all right, Tazmanian, I don't fully understand but kinda know what you trying to say,
I really want everyone who's tend to buy this piece think twice before they buy it, if you don't have a Doom MB or statue, this DST Milestone Doom will never be your first one, DST has a MB before, and that one is not fully appreciated, either, start with BD Doom MB or FS, SS 1/4 Doom is great to start ,too, just watch for the price!

whats up, i have this statue too.
my paint job is flawless, i looked real hard to try and see what rider was talking about. unless i got a paint master i cant tell.

i do see what he means about the fingers, they are a little thin. nothing to worry about though.
this piece is stunning and for the price i believe it is as good as it will ever get.
great job alterton, i cant wait to see that optimus/snake eyes in person

Marvel milestones statue are strange. Some are amzing<the spidey, venom carnage, kraven are great> . some miss the boat. I think doom missed the boat. Doctor strange was amazing...so much stuff going on in that statue. You could almost forget that rather odd face.
