Bump!! Due to a # of wrong answers, I have clarified the question. Feel free to resubmit an answer for those of you who tried already.

Did I stumble onto a math forum...thought this was statueforum? I'll give it a whirl. You guys aren't going to give us one of those "If a train leaves the station 200 mile away at 45 miles per hour and a second trian leaves the station traveling 65 miles per hour which train will arrive first?" questions are you?

From corner to corner, what is the minimum number of busts in a "border" on one wall?
Does the shelf go all the way around the room so a bust can be in the corner and therefore contribute to 2 walls at the same time (this one does not really matter I don't think)?
Does each wall need to have the same # of busts or can your room be rectangular?

Actually I believe I could handle that question better.
If I set my bust up around the room and end up with one left over, I'm just going to stick it anywhere it fits

I've tried a significant number of iterations, enough to know I must not be grasping the question properly.
