I think we can all agree that neither portrait resembles Psylocke.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Couple of things:
1- I just deleted 3 pages of posts. Please don't make me do it again.
2- TCat, you're rubbing everyone the wrong way, take some time of this thread. Don't take the statues so personal.
3- Zero politics in threads, that has been a forum rule since day one.
4- Stop derailing SS threads. If you can't stay civil and on point, don't burn that pent up energy here, do some cardio and then post some better thoughts.
5- Don't start posting "your take why you're post shouldn't have been deleted". If it continues, I'm banning the poster from the SS section and then from the forum.

Say that a character looks like a “tranny” and it’s harmless fun; call out the insensitivity of such comments and you’re being “political.”

...Oooookay!

The problem usually isn't from a single comment. It's for the continuous flow of comments and never knowing how to let go. Then, it goes from a thread about a statue to a thread about feelings and right vs wrong. Though we ask for it to get back to statue talk, some still don't know how to let go and continue to derail the thread.
I think we're pretty tolerant, at times, way too much. But, if a member has a tendency to rile things up, not much good will happen. Everyone has the ability to send me or any mod a pm or to report a thread. The back and forth banter on gay vs not gay, pro Trump vs not or any of those touchy subjects need to stay off the forums as well as the instigation of it.
And yes, I am aware that not everyone gets called out or every post gets the same attention. We hope that threads can get back on track but seems that in the SS section, the lack of manners is becoming more pronounced.
Everyone needs to just talk about statues and not get riled up about someone else's post. Sadly, it's not always the one that throws the punch that gets in trouble. So, just ignore the comments, report them and/or block the poster.

I actually can’t agree with that. In some artists hands, Psylocke did look like that original portrait. A stunning, beautiful portrait that I loved from jump street.

This final portrait I find bordering on comically stereotyping Asian features and borders on being racist IMO.

Perhaps this will be at SDCC again. Then again it might not be. I don’t think it would help sales to put this version on display anywhere near Rogue, X23 or any of the DC females that have far superior portraits. I just want to see how the finals paints ended up. I like how the suit seems darker than previewed.

I wonder with 3D printers is it possible for someone in the industry even ss, or just anyone in the industry with talent to make these fan arts? But the paint is another story. Which will require top talent meaning big $$$! Again for the price we shouldn't have to do this.
