I haven’t read all the batman stories, but from the ones I read so far, I agree.

A capullo head would not translate good into statue form imo. capullo Batman face is just nowhere as detailed as other artists. It's sorta simplistic / cartoony style. With other artists like Jim Lee they can make it work.

The seam would be at the collar of the cowl, where it appears to be anyway

I HATE King’s Batman. We get hugely fluffed up stories “War of Jokes and Riddles” that have absolutely no pay off. Not that it’s easy to follow up Snyder’s legendary run on Bats, but King is just plain awful.

For someone who stated quite fiercely that they hated any sort of visible seams for interchangeable headsculpts in the Ryu thread you’ve failed to notice the seams on two, straight off the bat.

I have to say, this one is really growing on me. When it comes to statues overall I'm just really a fan of "unique" pieces and this one definitely qualifies. I may push 1 or 2 that I've been considering to the side and get this instead.

I'm looking forward to seeing switch outs on this one, mainly I guess because there may not be able to be many. It doesn't really look like the hands are in a position to come off, maybe the arms do? And I'm not seeing any seam at all for the head. I would have to think there would be purple gloves too.....guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Is that fair to say that Capullo's art wouldn't translate well?

He Designed the Suit Batman is wearing, the motorcycle, the backpack, even the terrain of gotham he is "in", the whole thing!!?!? How would it not translate well to something he designed in it's entirety? lol

It's all a money grab.

Kelvin said on Facebook that this was modified as most people do not read the comics. Even compared the redo to Sideshow's re-styling.

Thank god for so many who blindly purchase these as it keeps this hobby more than healthy, but I will never understand how you purchase a giant statue with no prior knowledge of the source material, never mind a "love"
