Yup it is kinda weird that was Sideshow's forte but XM has really knocked a few of them out of the park. The Dark Phoenix at the Con with the calm head looks almost lifelike.

Phoenix should be up for statue of the year. Perfect sculpt, paint, and representation of the character. Second most anticipated statue of the year behind Hulkbuster

Someone pointed out her floating leg though. That bugs me. I wish they would have placed it, resting on the actual base. Otherwise I am liking it. The silver piping still bothers me a little. I think this piece definitely justifies its price more than the Sideshow piece. I think the second portrait would have really helped the Sideshow piece. Still shaking my head about that. Actually, I don't think I will ever let that go, lol.

awesome grumpy, I was wondering why no one took a picture of her from the side like this with her foot. Now can you find a picture of her switch-out right arm? Dont think XM has shown if she is holding anything or if its just an empty hand.

I don't see a pin-up pose in this piece at all. Museum yes, pin-up no. I see pin-up as something like the DC Bombshells pieces.

Was not showed, just the left switch out arm with the knife. Right was always holding the gun.
