Looks good except for the neck seam. It looks very bad. I cannot understand why did they do the neck that way. It was fine when we seen the first photos. I might have to cancel mine because of that.

I noticed the same thing. I didn’t preorder but was seriously considering picking this up before I saw that.
It makes no sense to have a neck seam like that. It’s not like he will have a switch out head.

Is it a neck seam or is it the way the cape gets put on over the mask as an article of clothing? That’s how I saw it - kind of like a turtleneck sweater.

The prototype was like on any other Batman statues. The cowl started from the lowest part of the neck. It looked good. Now it looks like some half rushed attempt cause they are closing down. Pity because this design is iconic and otherwise look good.

They really screwed this one up. Neck seam is horrible. The proto had the cape clasping around the neck. I had it on PO from SS. Cancelled it. Crap. What a shame. Now I'm really glad I built that 1/4 scale AR kit!

Announced at DC Fandome, the DC Designer Series will be continuing, since McFarlane is partnering with DC Direct to continue that line along with the Batman Black & White line & the Harley Quinn statue line. We'll probably see that Catwoman statue revived & other designer series pieces going forward. Great news.
