thanks for the inputs, guys. special thanks to lizard king for making me want to get both.

i grew up with both teams but for the xmen, i discovered them at the time of giant sized xmen team. for some reason, i like the FF cover because i like anything that has a well executed Thing. too bad that carlo can't say if it actually saw print or not. would have been nice to display it with the actual color.

in any case, i think all of you will agree that $300 per cover is a great deal. (oops! should i have said that? )

$300 is a great price. I'm paying more for some of the pieces I've got coming, but if you enjoy it and can afford it, why not? For the record, you couldn't go wrong with either one of them. If I could afford both I'd get both. You don't have a significant other that will hunt me down now do you?
