YAMATO NEWS
Hi guys,
I just wanted to thank Danny and Robert ( Bullseye) on behalf of Yamato, for helping me set up this new section.
I am very happy to announce I will be the official rep for Yamato USA web wide, and I will be posting images of new stuff very soon, I am here to answer any questions, please feel free to post away.
As you know I am sculpting some characters inspired by the art of great illustrators such as Hajime Sorayama, Boris Vallejo, and Dorian Cleavenger.
This is not an exclusive deal, I will remain a free agent, but I must say a lot of my focus and creativity will be dedicated to the Fantasy Figure Gallery line.
Also, last but not least. In the next few days I would like to make an announcement in regards to Yamato and I joining forces to bring you a new line of original statues, based on my ideas, and sculpted by yours truly. This is a new stage in my career, and I couldn't be happier to be able to work with a company so open to new ideas, thus allowing me complete freedom to create. Please stay tuned.
Thank you guys for your support.
Best,
-Erick Sosa

Excellent! Yamato has needed/deserved its own sub forum. I’m really looking forward to more information and pictures!

I too like to echo the sentiments here, Erick. Good luck with your new endeavor. I'm anxiously looking forward to what you have in store!
So my first two questions:
Previously I asked a question concerning your "Discovery" statue that is slated for May. Being that you are now the official rep, can you provide an update on shipping? Also, is there any new updates on the possible 1/4 Ritual resin statue?

Hi Vallos,
Thank you! It means a lot to have the support of the audience you intend to cater to.
*The factory will be done with Discovery the may 15th, in just a few days.
I personally saw the prototype at Yamato's office, and asked why they had it at the office and not at the factory, turns out that was a production sample, even I couldn't tell it was a production piece.
Since the product travels by Boat it should be here by mid June.
*As for Ritual 1/4 Luis Royo is still revising the new colors that will be used, I will shed more light once we get more information.
Thank you!
-Erick

Good luck Erick! Although, with the talent you have, you won't need to depend too much on luck.
