Saw it on YouTube, he looks awesome. I still think he doesn't fit with the rest, but I might get him anyways, and if I do I think I will display him by himself and not with the rest of the colllection. I have just the place in mind. I fear that the price might be too high though.

I watched the livestream which featured this character.

Two things I want to mention:

If a Sideshow rep sees this - I absolutely love when you have an artist(s) on the show to discuss their process in conceptualizing the statues. I find it so interesting and I always have a deeper appreciation for every character after hearing the artist talk about it.

Question - Are these court of the dead based on something? They have such a rich backstory for this character and it seems like every character in this line. Does Sideshow make all of this up? It sounds super interesting.

No, its not based on anything. While Tom stated he had inspirations, his vision and story is entirely original.

That's awesome! This universe should be made into a comic. I would read that for sure.

First thing I thought of when I saw this was Doomsday.

There are some digital comics on their official Court of the Dead website: https://courtofthedead.com/comics/

I am pretty excited about the novellas that will be coming out next year. Odium was not in the Chronicles of the Underworld, it'll be cool to learn more about him.

He is briefly shown on the Flesh faction splash page. Odd they did not have a description of him.

The story is still expanding but it already seems to be a great time to get into it. Odium can be compared to Hulk, Juggernaut, Abomination, Bane etc but he just looks too cool and different and deserves his place in the line up of CotD. The only problem might be SS flooding us with so many choices too early before we get into the full story.
