I did the exact same math, from the pic it looks like it's like 2 and a half men tall. Using 180cm as an average man's height, it's 4.5 meters, which would make him 25cm.
But I recall Paul said it's going to be massive so I'm confident it's going to be bigger.
I really liked Weta's exosuit from District 9, but found it was too small for the asking price.

Yeah it depends really on someone's definition of massive. To me it'd have to be 30" + for me to call it massive.
I agree with the d9 exosuit, I loved the design but it was way too small especially, like you say, for the money. If something is coming direct from a screen used maquette like ed and cain then the size is what it is. But when you're using digital files you can make the statue any size you like so you may as well make it impressive.

Yup, plus I can see why the smaller scale on pieces like ED and Cain. PCS recently disclosed that a 1:4 ED should retail at 2000$, after receiving the estimated costs by the factories.
Overall, I'm fine with smaller scales on veichles/robots and mechanical things in general, they tend to be more complex and often require more engineering.
Just hoping that given how Chronicle deals in almost any scale, this one will come at a good size (around 20" tall, give or take).
I'd like to pair it with Cain.

There is a pic in the 1/4 endoskeleton page, where the Endo is broken down. At the bottom you can see the main fuselage of the spider. Gives you a size reference.

This one?
Nice catch.
Whatever it is that part, it looks as big as the 1:4 Endo torso. If this HK ends up as big as a regular/bulky 1:4 piece I'm more than happy.

My interest is definitely peaked for this piece. I am looking forward to seeing some WIP pics for sure.

From Paul in the other thread.
We have the 1/18th Spider Tank coming but it's been slowed. We printed the piece using the existing CGI models. We received a new file about two weeks ago and they completely redesigned the thing below the head after we had grown and mastered the entire piece.
